Looking into photo essays…

 Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! ♥

This week, I did some research on photo essays and came across one that instantly caught my eye: https://www.dezeen.com/2018/09/02/spiralling-staircases-budapest-balint-alovits-interiors/

I chose this specific photo essay for a couple of reasons.. I think that looking at all of the shapes that the staircases create is aesthetically pleasing and satisfying to look at. They barely even look like staircases as they’re camouflaged by the chosen angle that the photographer had taken the pictures from.

Additionally, the lighting helps the colours contrast from one another as it gives them more tone and definition.

I’m very excited to gain inspiration from more photo essays and begin creating one of my own!
